It's the London Tube.

It was the first Underground in the world that used the diagram representing and many other important citties have copied it. It looks simple and usual but Harry Bake, the designer, dedicated all his life to draw that map, however he was paid just five guineas for the work. But it isn't perfect this map there isn't North or South and distances aren't like in the reality. For example, do you see the river? It doesn't go from East to Weast, the Thames goes to the north, or sometimes it make's you take many transfers for going to a place that is just at five minutes walking.

So, why do they use that map? The really situations of the places aren't important when you travel by The Tube, whit that sistem, you can know what line must you take only having a look. It's simple, scuematic and ordered.
